Let\u2019s be clear: this is not \u201caffirmation.\u201d It is not compassion. It is not medicine in the Hippocratic sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is mutilation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if you strip away the sanitized buzzwords, the doublespeak, and the \u201cequity & inclusion\u201d slogans plastered over it, that\u2019s all it is. Kids\u2014confused, vulnerable, still developing\u2014are being used as guinea pigs in a social experiment unprecedented in history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But don\u2019t just take my word for it. WPATH is the body behind the <strong>Standards of Care (SOC)<\/strong>, guidelines that have been treated as gospel by hospitals, schools, and woke legislators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WPATH\u2019s intent is plain: they want to normalize and expand access to medical transition, including for minors. Their bias? Advocacy masquerading as science. And while WPATH is highly influential\u2014many professional medical organizations cite their work\u2014they are not a neutral authority. Their credibility is often challenged because their guidelines lean more activist than evidence-based.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recent <strong>HHS \u201cTreatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria\u201d report (May 2025)<\/strong> laid this bare. It said the \u201cgold standard\u201d of WPATH guidelines are built on weak evidence, low-quality studies, and ideological assumptions. In other words, WPATH is leading the parade while blindfolded, and kids are paying the price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the HHS Report Actually Said<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trump-ordered HHS report (May 1, 2025) is a bombshell, even if legacy media tried to bury it under outrage pieces. It concluded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Weak Evidence for Benefits:<\/strong> Studies on puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries for kids are low-quality, short-term, and often contradictory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evidence of Harm Exists:<\/strong> While long-term data is sparse, known risks include sterility, sexual dysfunction, bone loss, and irreversible physical changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Medical Transition = Experimental:<\/strong> Treating minors with blockers and surgeries is \u201cexperimental\u201d and not backed by credible science.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Psychotherapy Preferred:<\/strong> The report pushed \u201cexploratory therapy\u201d (talk therapy) as a safer path\u2014though even here, evidence is thin.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s not me editorializing. That\u2019s the federal government\u2019s own Office of Population Affairs saying: <em>this is not proven medicine, it\u2019s a human experiment.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Suicide: The Emotional Blackmail Card<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest club activists swing in this debate is suicide. The line goes: <em>\u201cIf you don\u2019t affirm and transition these kids, they\u2019ll kill themselves.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Walsh, love him or hate him, dismantled this claim in testimony before a state legislature. He pointed out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No long-term studies<\/strong> show transition prevents suicide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WPATH\u2019s <strong>own commissioned study<\/strong> couldn\u2019t prove a link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If millions of \u201chidden trans kids\u201d were truly killing themselves throughout history, we\u2019d see an unbroken epidemic of child suicide\u2014yet the surge in youth suicides is new, and it tracks alongside the rise of \u201caffirmation,\u201d not its absence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This doesn\u2019t trivialize suicide. It recognizes the truth: weaponizing suicide statistics is manipulative and false. If anything, pushing kids into transition may <em>increase<\/em> suicidality down the line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regret and Detransition: Stories They Don\u2019t Want You to Hear<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The activist lobby insists regret is \u201crare.\u201d And sure, systematic reviews peg regret rates at around <strong>1% to 3%<\/strong>. But let\u2019s be blunt: even one child irreversibly sterilized, mutilated, or left suicidal is too many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the reality is much grimmer when you start listening to the people themselves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Chloe Cole<\/strong>: Put on puberty blockers and testosterone at 12, double mastectomy at 15. By 17, she regretted it all. She now speaks openly about the betrayal she feels from doctors and adults who told her this was \u201caffirmation.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ritchie Herron<\/strong>: British man who underwent genital surgery. Now suffers chronic pain, incontinence, and deep regret. His words: \u201cI live neutered.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eden Knight<\/strong>: A Saudi trans woman forced to detransition under family pressure. Her story ends in suicide\u2014a brutal reminder of what coercion and lack of genuine choice looks like.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cristina Hineman<\/strong>: Detransitioner suing Planned Parenthood, claiming she was rushed into hormones and surgery, leaving her with PTSD.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clementine Breen<\/strong>: Transitioned as a minor under Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy\u2019s care. Puberty blockers, testosterone, mastectomy\u2014all before 13. Now she\u2019s suing for irreversible harm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Walt Heyer<\/strong>: Transitioned, lived as a woman for 8 years, then detransitioned. He\u2019s spent decades counseling others with regret.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These aren\u2019t \u201crare unicorns.\u201d They are canaries in the coal mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Data Nobody Likes to Talk About<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s talk numbers for a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Jorgensen (2023)<\/strong>: 22% of transitioners reported regret, 11% ambivalent, 67% positive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MacKinnon (2022, JAMA)<\/strong>: Again, 22% regret, 11% ambivalence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>AP Review (2023)<\/strong>: Across 27 studies of 8,000 people, about 1% regret\u2014BUT many studies had short follow-up windows (2\u20135 years), hardly long enough for permanent effects like infertility or loss of sexual function to sink in.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the kicker: regret may not even show up for <strong>a decade or more<\/strong>. Which means these \u201clow regret\u201d numbers may just be delayed explosions waiting to go off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The \u201cMutilation\u201d Question<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some recoil at the word \u201cmutilation.\u201d Let me justify it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a 12-year-old is chemically sterilized with puberty blockers, that\u2019s not medicine\u2014it\u2019s sterilization.<br>When a 15-year-old girl\u2019s healthy breasts are cut off, that\u2019s not therapy\u2014it\u2019s mutilation.<br>When testosterone deepens a girl\u2019s voice and grows her facial hair forever, that\u2019s not affirmation\u2014it\u2019s irreversible harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we were talking about any other context\u2014say, a religious sect cutting body parts off children\u2014we\u2019d call it abuse, plain and simple. But slap a rainbow flag on it, call it \u201cgender-affirming,\u201d and suddenly it\u2019s celebrated as progressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who\u2019s Driving This?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>WPATH & Advocacy Doctors<\/strong> \u2013 Setting activist guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hospitals & Universities<\/strong> \u2013 Like Vanderbilt, openly marketing puberty blockers and mastectomies for minors until public backlash forced \u201cpauses.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Big Pharma<\/strong> \u2013 Every puberty blocker, every hormone prescription is a lifelong customer. That\u2019s a profit stream, not a cure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Political Actors<\/strong> \u2013 Using trans kids as pawns in a culture war, cynically painting any resistance as \u201chate.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t compassion. It\u2019s an industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What True Compassion Looks Like<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s flip the script. What would <em>real<\/em> compassion look like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Time, not rush:<\/strong> Allow kids to grow, develop, and explore without carving permanent changes into their bodies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Psychological support:<\/strong> Help kids through mental health challenges, trauma, and identity confusion without pushing drugs and scalpels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accountability:<\/strong> Hold doctors, therapists, and schools accountable when they rush minors into life-altering decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Truth-telling:<\/strong> Stop pretending puberty blockers are \u201creversible.\u201d Stop pretending mastectomies are anything but permanent amputations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Own Story: No Blame, Just Accountability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t write this as an outsider to family trauma. I grew up in a violent home. My brother took his own life under the weight of abuse. I was beaten. I gave my parents compassion, even as I held myself accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s the path I want for my daughter, for your kids, for every kid confused in this upside-down world: responsibility, not blame. Growth, not victimhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what today\u2019s \u201cgender-affirming\u201d industry is selling isn\u2019t accountability. It\u2019s the easy road: blame biology, blame society, blame mom and dad\u2014then cut, drug, and mutilate. That is not a solution. That is surrender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion: Punk Rock Parenting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the truth, raw and uncut: kids are not political props. They\u2019re not lab rats. And they sure as hell aren\u2019t canvas for an activist surgeon\u2019s ideology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mutilation of children under the guise of \u201ctrans-therapy\u201d is the scandal of our age. Years from now, society will look back in horror, asking how we ever let this happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t care if it makes me unpopular with elites or activists\u2014I will stand on this hill: <strong>children deserve protection, not mutilation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s give them time, love, guidance, and yes\u2014boundaries. Let\u2019s reject the lie that the only path to peace is through a scalpel. Let\u2019s stop the experiment before another generation is scarred for life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because if we don\u2019t, the regret stories won\u2019t be \u201crare.\u201d They\u2019ll be everywhere.
