If you\u2019d told teenage me that skinhead reggae would be the on-ramp to a deep dive on Israel, priesthood, Africa, and why I don\u2019t trust Rome with a butter knife, I\u2019d have laughed in your face.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s exactly how it happened.<\/p>\n

I came in through the music, not a seminary. Skinhead reggae led to reggae. Reggae cracked open questions I couldn\u2019t un-hear. Those questions led to what I\u2019d call a Holy Spirit conversion. After that, I stopped collecting opinions and started collecting receipts.<\/p>\n

Then the chain reaction went like this: biblical history, Mormonism, comparing it against Rastafarian faith (instead of mocking it like a tourist), then landing hard in the world of Ethiopia and the Ethiopian Orthodox tradition.<\/p>\n

That path did something to me. It didn\u2019t give me a \u201cnew perspective.\u201d It gave me a conviction: Israel isn\u2019t just a location. It\u2019s a layered identity. And the fight over what counts as \u201cIsrael\u201d is tied up with lineage, priesthood, translation, and power.<\/p>\n
