So my Nissan Sunny finally gave up the ghost this morning, battery completely dead and I was already stressed about getting the kids to school on time. I live in Bur Dubai and honestly I’m tired of driving all the way to Deira or Al Quoz every time I need something done on my car, there’s got to be a decent place closer to home that doesn’t overcharge just because of the location. I’ve been hearing really good things about Solite batteries from a few of my neighbors who have them in their sedans, apparently they handle this summer heat way better than the cheap ones that die after a year. The thing is, I don’t want to end up at some random shop that sells counterfeit stuff or gives me a battery that’s been sitting on a shelf for two years already. What I’m really after is Genuine Solite battery supply and installation in Bur Dubai because I’d rather pay a bit extra for peace of mind and proper fitting than save a few bucks and end up stranded again. Has anyone here found a trustworthy place around that area, maybe near Al Fahidi or closer to the Dubai Creek side? I don’t mind paying for quality as long as I know the guys actually know what they’re doing and don’t just yank out the old one and slap in the new without checking the alternator or anything. Would seriously appreciate any local recommendations because the thought of spending my Friday morning hunting for a garage is giving me a headache.
