So I’ve got a 2017 Maserati Ghibli that’s been absolutely brilliant for the most part, but over the last couple of months I’ve noticed this annoying knocking sound coming from the front suspension whenever I go over uneven roads or speed bumps, and honestly it’s starting to really bother me. I took it to a garage near my place and they had a quick look and said it might be the control arms or maybe the bushings, but they couldn’t give me a definitive answer and wanted to start replacing parts just to see if it fixed the problem, which I’m not comfortable with at all. The car drives fine otherwise and there are no warning lights or anything, but I don’t want to leave it too long in case it turns into something more serious and expensive to fix. Has anyone had a similar issue with their Ghibli or Levante and found a place that properly diagnosed and sorted it out without any drama? I’d really appreciate some recommendations because I’m getting stressed about this honestly.
