Growing up, my heritage as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) was my starting point. I delved into the study of different creeds, from various forms of Christianity and Judaism to Hinduism and, more recently, the Coptic Church and Rastafarianism. These explorations have been driven by a desire to uncover the ancient wisdom that has been suppressed or lost over the centuries. My work in researching these traditions, including investigating historical libraries around the world, led to two significant projects: my book Echoes of Power and the song of the same name.
