After much reflection, I’ve decided to take a step back from social media and cool the conflicts in my life by focusing on peace and mediation, both for myself and those around me. As part of this transition, I’m retiring many of my social media accounts. However, I will continue sharing through alternative processes with my roughly 90,000 combined followers, and I hope that continues to grow.
Last week, I was feeling confident about this decision—until the Internet Archive was hacked. This platform is where I’ve stored much of my life’s work, including around 6,000 pieces of content I’ve created over the years. The Wayback Machine started archiving my material back in 1999, but it really picked up after 2002. Everything from my autobiography, poetry, and music, to the 500+ internet properties I’ve owned or managed over the last 25 years is stored there. It’s a massive archive of my journey, and I hope it remains intact once the platform recovers from the cyber attack.
That said, I’m not done creating content. While I’m stepping back from day-to-day posting, I’m also shifting focus toward new and exciting projects. Now that my body has forced me to slow down and semi-retire, I’m turning my attention to things I love but haven’t had much time for—like film production and writing more thoughtful books. With the help of AI, I plan to streamline my writing process. I’ll still write the books, but instead of hiring editors, I’ll use AI to refine my work. I’ll release both the finished products and my raw manuscripts so readers can see the evolution of my content.
When the Internet Archive comes back online, you’ll find the rest of my content here. In the meantime, if you have my number, feel free to text me, and I’ll continue checking Messenger daily. For the next month or so, I’ll be stepping away from content creation and letting AI handle some of the workload while I focus on building up new projects.
