There was a time when Disney stood for wonder, creativity, and the unifying power of storytelling. Those days are behind us. In a recent viral clip, Disney president Karey Burke made a stunning announcement: she is the mother of two “queer children” — one transgender and one pansexual. Their ages? Five and seven.
Let that sink in.
This isn't just a matter of parenting choices. It's a window into the ideological project unfolding before our very eyes, one that's being pushed not only by media conglomerates like Disney but increasingly subsidized by our own federal government.
The Probability Problem: Are We Just Supposed to Believe This?
As Dr. Jordan Peterson rightly pointed out in his response to this announcement, the math just doesn’t add up. The probability of having a trans-identified child is estimated to be about 1 in 3,000. The odds of having a pansexual child are even lower, largely because “pansexuality” wasn’t even part of mainstream discourse until a few years ago. Combine those two probabilities and you end up with astronomical odds: about 1 in 9 million.
So what’s more likely? That Burke has two naturally occurring, statistically improbable queer children? Or that the children have become identity props in a broader ideological narrative? The Occam's Razor answer isn’t hard to find.
Why Is a 5-Year-Old Concerned With Sexual Orientation?
We have to ask the obvious question here: what does it even mean for a five-year-old to be pansexual? Or a seven-year-old to be transgender? These are children just learning to tie their shoes, read a book, or understand the concept of time. Most kids at that age still believe in the Tooth Fairy. But now, we're being told they have definitive internal understandings of complex gender and sexual identities?
This is ideological colonization. The gender-identity complex is now being projected onto children far too young to comprehend such concepts, let alone articulate them authentically. And yet, adults in power (especially those in corporate and political spheres) are presenting these identities as fact — not just within their households, but as values to be mass-marketed to your children.
Disney's New Mission: Ideology Over Storytelling
Let’s not forget the broader implications of what Burke revealed. As the president of Disney, she’s not just sharing her personal story — she’s using it to justify the company’s open commitment to embedding as many LGBT+ characters into their content as possible.
This isn’t about representation anymore. This is about saturation.
And while most of us are trying to raise our kids to be kind, independent thinkers who grow into their identities over time, Disney is actively pushing children to question those identities before they’re even developmentally capable of doing so.
The Government Is Paying for This
As if this ideological crusade wasn't concerning enough, it turns out your tax dollars may be helping bankroll it.
In an absolutely absurd and under-reported example of government waste, reports have shown that the federal government held thousands of unused Disney+ subscriptions during the pandemic. While small businesses were shuttered, while veterans and seniors struggled to get support, and while inflation skyrocketed, government agencies were subsidizing access to Disney's streaming platform — a platform now clearly identified with ideological indoctrination rather than innocent entertainment.
This isn’t just wasteful spending. It’s taxpayer-funded propaganda.
The Weaponization of Compassion
To be clear: no one is against children being loved, supported, or safe. But that's not what's happening here. This is the weaponization of compassion — turning children into mascots for adult political causes, and dressing it up in the language of tolerance.
In this case, we see a powerful executive using her own kids as emotional shields to justify Disney’s radical shift away from neutral, family-friendly content and toward an explicitly activist agenda. What happened to allowing kids to be kids?
When Entertainment Becomes Engineering
Entertainment shapes culture. That’s what makes Disney's ideological agenda so dangerous. These aren’t just movies. They’re emotional blueprints for young minds. They carry narratives that bypass rational debate and embed values at the emotional level — the most effective form of persuasion.
This is why libertarians and classical liberals should be the loudest critics of what’s going on. The state and its preferred corporate allies have no business steering the personal development of children through mass media and education. That’s the role of parents, families, and communities — not corporate execs with ideological axes to grind.
What Can We Do?
- Cancel Disney+ — Don’t fund your own indoctrination. If enough subscribers walk away, they’ll notice.
- Educate your kids — Teach them media literacy. Show them how to question narratives, even from Disney.
- Support alternatives — There are creators, platforms, and companies offering entertainment without the agenda.
- Hold the government accountable — Demand transparency about how your tax dollars are being spent. There's no excuse for buying bulk streaming services while pretending we're in a fiscal crisis.
Final Thoughts
This is not a call to hatred or bigotry. This is a call to sanity, to boundaries, and to respect for the natural developmental process of children. It's a call for storytelling that unites us rather than divides us along ideological lines.
The Gospel of Disruption is simple: challenge centralized power, expose state-corporate collusion, and reclaim cultural spaces from ideological overreach.
If you’re not willing to fight for the minds of your children, rest assured — someone else already is.
