Also last week, you can hear Sam Wilder King II speak about his problems with the TMT protest and the words that they use to describe those on the other side. For example, many of these protesters will call someone like Sam King II, or Kalepa Baybayan “fake Hawaiians” for having a different point of view than the protesters.

As I said, I have every reason to be transparent, and no real good reason to be secretive. I don’t blame other people for forming strategies and keeping it on the down-low. A lot of things can happen in the background or without me involved completely, and that would probably even be best, and then that absolves me from keeping/holding secrets..
Some of the protesters are digging through my public posts on my public website, and are pretending that I have something to hide, and declaring me as a racist.
I have plenty of history that they can (and are) using against me.
They found a post that I made a Disruparian awhile back, and are talking about it on their facebook groups.

On an additional note, I have made it very clear that I do support the TMT. However, there has been no time that I have communicated with anyone who works for the TMT. I have not been paid or encouraged by the TMT. I simply love science, and I love high altitude mountains, and I am upset that a public road that I pay for is being illegally blocked by protesters who do not represent but only a small fraction of the Hawaii state population. The person in that facebook group said that I made a video claiming that I do not support the TMT. That is wrong. I have only said “that the TMT can fight their own battles”. My cause is to restore my right to freely travel on a public road.

And I have spent a lot of time and money in Hawaii over the last couple of decades. So Im not just brand new here. But as a federal tax payer, my tax dollars have gone to OHA and DHHL many many decades of my life. Now as a state tax payer, my state tax dollars also go to OHA and DHHL. So my interest in these organizations, and these laws have doubled since I moved here. Mauna Kea access road is maintained by the state general fund, also which I pay into. Astronomy is SACRED to me. So that is also a vested interest I have in this struggle

As for Ken Conklin. You are making a point definitely worth addressing. Ken Conklin is a PHD with three masters degrees. He is fluent in the Hawaiian Language. He has taught Hawaiian Studies at University of Hawaii as well. When people contest to me “you can’t have an opinion on this, you dont have a PHD like David Sai does”. Well Ken Conklin does, and he has plenty of credentials in this field of study. You should read a few of his books on this

The difference between Ken Conklin and David Sai, and the reason to bring up David Sai’s record. Is that Ken Conklin isn’t using his education, and knowledge of this history to rip people off. David Sai is ripping people off, and that is why he has been convicted of one felony, and is facing his second now. He used this fake and distorted cherry-picked history to convince Native Hawaiians that they could get out of their mortgages. The saddest part is, that they were already hurting financially, when he lifted $1500 from them, using his fake history.

If David Sai would have presented the full details, such as the letters of recognition from all of the Treaty Partners of the Hawaiian Kingdom, which these partners sent to the Republic of Hawaii recognizing the RoH as the legitimate successor of the Hawaiian Kingdom, or if he would talk about the Morgan Report in his presentation. Or if he would talk about the white supremacist reasons that James Blount opposed annexation. It may have given these home owners pause in believing that David Sai could help them get out of their mortgage. He duped them, by only giving them half of the story. Now he is doing the same thing to other Hawaiians. So I have my opinion, and in my videos, I always tell people to do their own research. I am also a stake holder, and I am very much entitled to my opinion. If David Sai story can hold any weight on it’s own, and if my side of the story is incorrect, then there is nothing to worry about

2. The white supremacist reasons that the Southern Democrat and spokesman for white supremacy James Blount had for rejecting annexation
3. The Morgan Report which proves that James Blount was lying in his report.

David Sai rarely if ever discusses those issues.

My thoughts on this video and these topics.

First kanaka needs to realize a few important aspects.

1. Hawaii is not governed by mob rule.  (minority make policy?)
2.  Racial based ownership or racial based privilege is racism, and most of us won’t stand for it any longer.
3. Hawaii is not occupied. Hawaii was annexed, look up the terminology. Hawaii was overthrown much like England was overthrown in America. Hawaii was annexed much like Texas was annexed, and much like Crimea was recently annexed by Russia.
4. Look up laws on “Adverse possession”. After 20 years, the occupier of a property can claim ownership in Hawaii.  Also, look up easement and eminent domain.
5. Soon there will be a major change in the government in Hawaii. These tippy-toe virtual signaling by liberal haoles will be replaced by stronger more liberty-minded representatives that do no rule-based on skin color, but based on liberty instead.
6. We will need to end the DHHL racist laws created in 1920, and we will need to apply the 14th Amendment to Kamehameha schools.

Week Four of the TMT Protests by Disruptarian – Has anyone else noticed the violent threats and racism? The Thirty Meter Telescope has brought out a lot of hidden little secrets in Hawaii about racism, and decades-old hurt that exists in this island.

They say “Hawaii is a fake state” and that the USA stole Hawaii from the Monarchy in 1893.

The facts are far different than they present, and this transition started long before 1893 when Hawaiian subjects, Hawaiian citizens and genetic Hawaiians overthrew their government.

This process started when King Kamehameha I made European visitors Ail’i (chiefs) and gave them land and wives in exchange for weapons and ships so that King Kamehameha I could destroy his enemies in local islands, some were his cousins and other family, and he wanted those weapons so bad to destroy those people, that he started giving up parts of Hawaii to foreigners.

There are the different constitutions of Hawaii, which contrasted one from the other greatly, which gives a bit of a look into the conflicts in Hawaii from one regime to the next, long before Hawaii was annexed into the USA.

• Kingdom of Hawaii. Constitution of 1840 on October 8, 1840.
• The Constitution of 1852 came into effect under Kamehameha III signed it into law June 14, 1852.
• Republic of Hawaii. Constitution of 1894 on July 4, 1894.
• Territory of Hawaii. Organic Act of 1990 on June 14, 1900.
• State of Hawaii. Constitution of 1950 on August 21, 159 (statehood)

When Hawaiian sovereignty people say that Hawaii was stolen.
In fact it was mismanaged by war and greed, and then more greed and mismanagement, and even more mismanagement until the Hawaiian Kingdom dissolved slowly over 100 years time.

Going a bit further back, but not too far, is when Tahitians (modern day Hawaiian’s ancestors) conquered Hawaii and took it from the original inhabitants, which those first inhabitants came from South East Asia.

And beyond that, if the overthrow of Hawaii is null and void, and if we are in a “fake state”, then is the USA also a fake state?

What about all of the other countries who have had revolutions?

They always talk about “Codified law” and “the Geneva Convention” and the “Hague Convention”.

So is that the rules that are going by? Rules that didn’t exist until after the overthrow of Hawaii?

Then why did the Hague throw their case out?

In the following video I gave a few different presentations related to the Thirty Meter Telescope project on Mauna Kea, and I also addressed the real issue underlying the protesters who are protesting the construction of the telescope.

The Hawaiian Sovereignty movement is very much behind the TMT telescope project.  They are making a stand against it, because the claim all of Hawaii belong exclusively to genetic Hawaiians.

So I addressed the origin of the so-called “Native Hawaiian” people, and the origin of the formation of the state of Hawaii, which they contest as “illegal occupation”.

This is a very important topic to address because of how deeply it relates to the resistance of this small group of Hawaiians that reject the Thirty Meter Telescope.

Modern day Hawaiians come from Tahiti not too long ago, and they conquered South East Asians to get these islands.  After that for 700 years the Hawaiian islands fought bitterly and brutally in conquest for each other’s land.

Then the cession of power in Hawaii was taken by Native Born Hawaiians, this is a subject that these sovereignty people don’t like to talk about.

King Kamehameha gave several foreigners titles as chiefs, land and wives. Their children born in Hawaii (aka Native Hawaiians), then overthrew their government and created the Republic of Hawaii.
The ex-Queen signed the Abdication Document ceeding her power and shortly thereafter she signed loyalty oath to the Republic. Then 20 countries including Switzerland and Netherlands and other countries in 4 continents and 11 languages recognizing the Republic of Hawaii as the legitimate government.

Dear Ashley,

Aloha!  I wanted to comment on your speech on July 20th last year, when you spoke about the financial challenges that our community is facing post-eruption.
I am troubled by the support that Matt Kanaelii-Kleinfelder is not supporting the TMT, and is infact emboldening protesters with his support of them.

As you well know the TMT project is a no-waste facility, it is not impacting historical or present day ritual or burial practices.
The EIS has been very enlightening on what the impact will be.  The fact that 3 telescopes are coming down, to make room for this one telescope is a grand compromise IMHO.

The protesters currently are shutting down public/county roads, impeding people in their productive daily routines, and blocking many workers from performing any of their daily duties for their jobs.

I would like to see you support the TMT, and oppose the protesters who are hurting our already fractured community.
